Meet
Marshae

Hi! I’m Marshae, a trauma therapist, healing companion, and mental health advocate.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan, with over 10 years of experience in trauma-informed care. My clinical work focuses on depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma recovery, and emotional regulation. I use a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, and TF-CBT.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and bring extensive experience across outpatient care, crisis intervention, case management, residential treatment, and clinical supervision.

My Background

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University, and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University. Over the years, I’ve worked in various settings; from community mental health and inpatient facilities to residential programs and private practice.

I’ve received formal training in EMDR, IFS, and TF-CBT and hold certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional.

My Values

My passion for trauma work is deeply personal. I know what it’s like to carry invisible pain and that’s why I’m so committed to creating a space where others can feel seen, safe, and supported.

To me, therapy should feel like exhaling! Like taking off the mask and realizing you don’t have to carry everything alone. I want my clients to show up fully as themselves and embrace every part of who they are. Whether you’re just starting your healing or navigating a new chapter, I’m here to walk beside you with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Fun Facts

  • I love a good laugh and spontaneous joy.

  • I enjoy traveling, relaxing with a good book, or having a cozy rest day.

  • I proudly nerd out about all things mental health!

If you’re ready to explore your story, build emotional strength, and find peace after pain  I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.
